Glare resistant - A whole of ultra-thin layers on the lens surfaces that eliminates reflections to dramatically reduce glare. Reflections on both sides of the lens can lead to the wearer experiencing glare, which creates visual discomfort and reduces clarity of vision. An anti-reflective lens also gives better vision for night driving, improved safety – and for computer use, it's means less eyestrain.
Scratch-resistant technology - A hard layer that creates a much tougher surface on lenses. (These are still susceptible to damage, especially if dropped). The technology gives glasses a longer life and protects visual clarity. This is a must have, and even more for children’s glasses.
Water Resistant - Lenses with a water resistant treatment prevents water collecting and preserve clarity of vision. The water rolls into small droplets and slides off the lens with ease. With ordinary lenses water spreads and sticks to the surface.
UV Protection - A clear filter on the lenses that protects the eyes from damaging UV light, which can be applied to all type of glasses. UV light is dangerous to eyes, and has been connected to the development of cataracts and eye cancer. People who regularly spend time outdoors should opt for UV protection. This is recommended for all sunglasses but can also be applied to clear, everyday lenses too.
